Is greed good and sin back? Ten years on from the launch of the UN’s Sustainable Development goals the investment backdrop looks very different to 2015. How should we think about investing for sustainable and inclusive growth in a world characterised by a higher cost of capital, fragmented geopolitics and rising ESG scepticism? How can you invest to make exceptional returns and help to solve global challenges? We will explore why our conviction is stronger than ever that the world’s most profitable companies will reflect the long-term needs of our time.

Objectives:

  • To explore the changing backdrop for sustainable and impact funds
  • To understand how solving global challenges are already providing some of the great structural growth opportunities of the coming decade
  • To consider how technology has the potential to supercharge positive progress
